Give feedback on draft codes and rules under the Scams Prevention Framework (SPF).
The consultation package includes:
a draft instrument setting out:
common code obligations for all sectors
specific obligations for banks and digital platforms
a draft instrument setting out code obligations for the telecommunications sector
a draft instrument setting out rules under the SPF
explanatory materials for the draft codes and rules
a guide to support the review of codes and rules
a consultation paper on proposed settings for internal dispute resolution.
Submissions may be shared with SPF regulators.
Background
The SPF creates world-leading protections against scams. It creates new obligations and rules for certain businesses in sectors targeted by scammers.
Information session
There will be an online information session on Friday 5 June 2026 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm (AEST).
