Written submissions

All interested parties are encouraged to make a submission by 31 July 2017.

While submissions may be lodged electronically (below) or by post, electronic lodgement is preferred. For accessibility reasons, please submit responses in a Word or RTF format. An additional PDF version may also be submitted.

All information (including name and address details) contained in submissions will be made available to the public on the Treasury website unless you indicate that you would like all or part of your submission to remain in confidence. Automatically generated confidentiality statements in emails do not suffice for this purpose. Respondents who would like part of their submission to remain in confidence should provide this information marked as such in a separate attachment.

Legal requirements, such as those imposed by the Freedom of Information Act 1982, may affect the confidentiality of your submission.

When providing a submission to Treasury, you may wish to remain anonymous or use a pseudonym. Please note if you choose to remain anonymous or use a pseudonym, Treasury may place less weight on your submission.

By completing the above form, you will have provided us with personal information that Treasury may use for the purposes of processing and responding to your submission.  We may disclose your personal information to other agencies in order to assist with processing your submission.  We will not disclose personal information to overseas recipients. It is intended that all submissions not marked as confidential will be treated as public and placed on the Treasury website. Therefore authors of submissions should clearly mark any material that is to be treated as confidential or indicate clearly if they do not wish their submission to be made public. Submissions marked as confidential will not be published on the Treasury website.

Unless otherwise requested, all details that have been included on a submission, including contact information, will be available on the Treasury website. A request may be made to withhold some or all personal information. The Treasury can also remove hidden data from files sent from external sources however, we recommend that submitters remove any personal information that they do not want published prior to sending content to Treasury. The Treasury can only remove personal information and hidden data if files are sent without file protection added. The Treasury will not pass on personal information to a third party however, once personal information has been published onto the web, Treasury does not have any control over its subsequent use and disclosure.
