The Australian Government established Community Benefit Principles as part of the Future Made in Australia agenda. The principles ensure that the government’s Future Made in Australia investment and the private sector investment it attracts flows to benefit local workers, businesses and communities.
We want to hear your views on draft public guidance showing how the principles can be applied in practice. We also want to give you an opportunity to help shape their implementation.
This will ensure that Future Made in Australia investment creates shared value across the economy. The guidance is also relevant to companies seeking to claim Future Made in Australia production tax incentives for critical minerals and hydrogen.
We welcome feedback from everyone, including:
community groups
governments
regulators
project proponents.
