There are often small steps to negotiate when entering buildings and ramps are sometimes too steep. Often the accessible entrances are blocked by posts or plants where aesthetic considerations outweighs accessibility

I have tried lodging a complaint in the past and found that responsibility is often passed to someone else. I have a problem crossing from the street into the driveway at my place of employment. My employer referred me to the city council, who referred me to the landlord, who referred me back to the council who referred me back to my employer. This has now been going on for two years.
